The Home Stretch
I'm in my LAST MONTH of pregnancy. Did you hear me? It bears repeating: I am ALMOST NOT PREGNANT ANYMORE!!
31 days left... one month from tomorrow... 4 weeks from this Thursday... It's all I can think about.
Alas, I'm still very sore in that whole general area, and so the thought of actually pushing a baby out right now is semi-terrifying. Remember when I hoped for her arrival 1-2 weeks early? Scratch that, ok? I need all the time I can get.
I'm back to a somewhat normal state this week. It's my first day back at work since 9/8, and I'm playing the catch-up game like nobody's business. The only difference is that while I was out, our office moved. Rebecca and I are now in a former chiropractor's office tucked inside one of our gyms. It's like moving residences: there are boxes everywhere, we can't find anything, and nothing works. So, it's been chaotic, to say the least. I'm exhausted and just want to go home and flop on the sofa, but tonight's our babycare skills class at the hospital, where we'll learn to give a bath to a squirming infant and take it's temperature in the butt (poor kid, I feel for you).
