For Shay, She Who Is Easily Entertained
Fame, even in your own small, warped circle, has its downside -- your rabid fans obsess when you haven't updated your blog in 6 days! Luckily, I am 1.) completely unmotivated by anything work-related today, 2.) anxious to do anything to take my mind off Surly Pouty Temp, who is pushing me ever-closer to the realm of homicide, or at least a good choking, and 3.) happy to comply, even though my life is so freaking uneventful and sorry right now.
16 days! Do you think Pumpkin knows this? She sure seems anxious to leave the Hotel Uterus. Several times a day now, she writhes around in there so forcefully that from the outside, it looks like at any minute, an alien will claw and/or chew its way out of there and then eat my head. And you don't need to be up close to see this -- it's easily viewed from across the room, and possibly from the moon, too, without the aid of a telescope. It doesn't really hurt, but man oh man, when she gets an elbow cocked out in the right place, I wonder about the limits my skin can be stretched to. I keep trying to convince her that she'd have plenty of room if she'd JUST LEAVE THE WOMB ALREADY, but she has her own mind, apparently. Obstinate child.
